    You may use the form on this page if you are interested in adopting a kitten/cat from our cattery and would like to be considered for placement on our waitlist. Submission of this questionnaire does not guarantee your being placed on the waiting list, or the resulting adoption of a kitten/cat.

    Data collected with this form will only be used to evaluate your request for placement onto our waitlist.

    Remember: While there is no right or wrong answer, we do require you to be truthful, open, and honest in completing this questionnaire. At the end of the day, the best interest of our animals is our highest priority and we take the selection of our adoption families very seriously.

    Application Processing Fee

    To help mitigate the submission of applications from individuals not serious about adopting a Maine Coon Cat, Mythical Meow Maine Coon charges a $150 non-refundable application fee for each submitted questionnaire. This fee will be credited towards the total adoption price of the kitten selected. If for any reason your application is not accepted by Mythical Meow Maine Coon, we will issue an immediate refund of this application fee. Upon successful completion and submission of this form you will be redirected to the credit card processing form to submit your application payment.

    This application fee is not a Kitten/Cat Deposit and does not reserve any animal. At the time of Kitten/Cat selection a deposit is required to reserve the animal. The adoption of a Kitten/Cat is governed by our Adoption Contract.

    General Terms

    By Submitting this form you acknowledge that you have reviewed the pricing in our Adoption Contract, and that the total cost of animal ownership (food, veterinarian services, etc.) will not be a financial burden upon you or your family.

    You understand that each litter goes up for adoption only after a pre-adoption wellness check (Kitten Adoption Veterinarian Clearance) is performed on the animal at 28 days (4 weeks of age) by our Cattery Veterinarians. No adoptions will take place prior to this exam.

    You acknowledge that Litter Announcements, Adoption Day Updates, and Adoption Authorization Codes will be sent out via SMS text-message. You further acknowledge that you will update Mythical Meow Maine Coon if your mobile phone number changes, and that you will make yourself available via SMS text-message on Adoption day. Failure to respond in a timely manner will unfortunately result in skipping over your Family and preceding to the next on the list.

    Thank you for your interest in our Cattery and our Furbabies. Unfortunately due to United States and international travel/shipping restrictions, we cannot adopt out animals to your geographic location at this time.

    I acknowledge that international shipping/transportation is highly regulated and will require additional documentation and/or animal quarantine. No kitten may be leave the United States until they are at least 16 weeks of age. We will make every effort to assist in the coordination of international shipping/transportation, but ultimately it is the responsibility of the Buyer to ensure that they are in compliance with the laws and regulations of their home country. Contact your country’s Embassy or a IPATA (International Pet and Animal Transportation Association) member for assistance in coordinating and complying with your country’s applicable rules and regulations.

    I acknowledge that an Adoption from my Geographic Location is currently allowed but due to United States and international travel restrictions; Buyer or Buyer’s Representative, will be required to pick-up the Animal in person at Mythical Meow Maine Coon Cattery. I further acknowledge that if Buyer or Buyer’s Representative is not able to travel to the United States and pick-up the Animal for any reason, full ownership of the Animal shall revert back to Mythical Meow Maine Coon Cattery and all monies paid by the Buyer shall be retained by the Breeder as liquidated damages.
